Pensoft is going to the International Congress of Entomology 2024 in Japan
Pensoft, a key publisher of open-access journals and books in the domains of entomology and biodiversity, will be an active participant at the International Congress of Entomology 2024 (ICE2024), scheduled for August 25-30, 2024, in Kyoto, Japan.
Prof. Lyubomir Penev, Pensoft’s founder and CEO, and a founding editor of ZooKeys, the publisher’s flagship journal, will be present at the congress to represent the company and interact with fellow experts in entomology.
At Stand 25, visitors will have the opportunity to get to know Pensoft’s open-access entomological journals, including ZooKeys, Biodiversity Data Journal, and Nota Lepidopterologica, as well as a broad selection of books covering insect diversity, systematics, and ecology.
Attendees will also learn more about the ARPHA Platform, a next-generation publishing system designed to optimize the workflow between authors, reviewers, and editors.
In addition to its publishing initiatives, Pensoft will be highlighting its participation in several Horizon-funded EU projects aimed at safeguarding pollinators. This includes Safeguard, a project focused on reversing the decline of wild pollinators in Europe, where Pensoft plays a crucial role in research communication and the development of the Safeguard Knowledge Exchange Hub (Safe-Hub).
In PollinERA, Pensoft takes the lead in communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities to enhance pollinator protection and mitigate pesticide impacts.
Pensoft also manages communication and knowledge sharing in the WildPosh project, which is dedicated to improving the evaluation of pesticide risks to wild pollinators and promoting sustainable pollinator health and ecosystem services in Europe.
